Introducing Mykita Eyewear

Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans, Philipp Haffmans and Moritz Krueger founded MYKITA in 2004. What to some may sound like an Asian-style name was in fact inspired by the firm’s first premises – a former day-care centre for children (in East Germany abbreviated to “Kita”).

MYKITA Collection No.1– made from stainless steel.

Highly innovative functional design comprising simple plug connections made complex soldered joints and screw connections redundant. The corrective spectacles and sunglasses range from classically elegant to
avant-garde designs in a wide range of frame colours.

MYKITA Collection No.2 – made from full-bodied acetate.

What sets the spectacles apart is the hinge – a connecting element that hugs the front and temples in the style of a sheath. The designs of the spectacles and sunglasses are crisp, clear and distinctive. All frames are hand-made at MYKITA’s own production site in the heart of Berlin.

Visit the Mykita website to see the full spectrum of these exquisite frames. www.mykita.com
